Below are most common speed packages available from RCN Internet Service. If you dont know your speed tier, check your account on RCN portal:

  • Internet 10 (10 Mbps down)
  • Internet 25 (25 Mbps down)
  • Internet 50 (50 Mbps down)
  • Internet 155 (155 Mbps down)
  • Internet 250 (250 Mbps down)
  • Internet 330 (330 Mbps down)
  • Internet 500 (500 Mbps down)
  • Internet 1000 (1000 Mbps down)

Notes:

  1. RCN only supports 24×8 or greater DOCSIS 3.0 modems currently for BYOM (Buy your own Modem) program. 
  2. RCN does not support customer owned modems for 500 and 1000 Mbps service. Customer needs to rent modem from RCN. Some customers have got CM1000 and SB8200 working on DOCSIS 3.1 service but it is not officially supported
  3. phone customers need RCN eMTA device and RCN does not support retail voice eMTA for voice service
